The Shrine of Saint Anne for Mothers is a special place of pilgrimage and liturgical worship where the gift of motherhood is honored. The Shrine seeks to affirm the dignity of women by celebrating motherhood as a noble and essential part of our Church, society and our world. In supporting and promoting the dignity of mothers we recognize that, from the moment of her child’s conception, a mother is blessed and through this blessing she finds the grace to live out her call, “to bear witness to the meaning of genuine love, of a total gift of self and of an acceptance of others…” (JPII, The Gospel of Life, 99).

WEEKEND MASS SCHEDULE Sunday: 10:00 am LITURGY OF THE HOURS Sunday: 9:30 am DAILY MASS 12:15 pm Monday through Friday Benediction 10:00 am every Tuesday Stations of the Cross After 12:15 Mass every Friday during Lent Sacrament of Baptism Parents to call the Office to make arrangements. Baptism Preparation every first Saturday of the month at 1:00 pm in the Blessed Sacrament Church Rectory Office. Sacrament of Matrimony Arrangements should be made six months in advance.

The Shrine of Saint Anne embodies a devotion to its namesake. Turning to Saint Anne, wife of Joachim, mother of Mary the Mother of God, and grandmother of Jesus Christ, we invoke Saint Anne’s motherly intercession so that the sanctity of all life will be recognized, and that all mothers will be given the strength and support to bear witness to the great gift of life.

We seek to honor all mothers living and deceased, single mothers, grandmothers, mothers thankful for God’s graces and those who have suffered the loss of a child. Let us together join our late Holy Father, John Paul II, in showing gratitude for all mothers: "Thank you, women who are mothers! You have sheltered human beings within yourself in a unique experience of joy and travail. This experience makes you become God’s own smile upon the newborn child, the one who guides your child’s first steps, who helps it to grow, and who is the anchor as the child makes its way along the journey of life" (Letter to Women, June 29, 1995).
